Building Kidz COVID-19 Help CenterCurrently all Building Kidz schools are OPEN
In the best of times we are the place that provides a stimulating, engaging, and fun learning environment for your child, using the “whole child” philosophy. Unfortunately, these are not the best of times. Today, we are extending the “whole child” philosophy to the “whole family“.
While we don’t have all the answers in these unprecedented times, we do have some.
First, let’s start with Building Kidz preschool campuses.
At Building Kidz, the health and safety of our children, our families, and staff is our foremost concern. All of our facilities exceed state and national guidelines for cleanliness and COVID sanitization. We have and continue to work with local health officials, school districts, child care licensing boards/bodies, child care accreditation bodies, health consultants, and other community partners to determine the most appropriate plan and action. All tours are delivered via video conferencing to maintain maximum protection for everyone at our campuses. The video above provides insight into the protocols we have put in place to minimize transmission from check in/check out processes to modifications made within our campuses which enable cohorts and social distancing.
For parents whose children are not able to attend school, either because of school closure, self-quarantining, or social distancing decisions, we have converted our curriculum to “distance learning” to help in maintaining a connection with our families should they decide to shelter at home. Our parents have access to a library of recorded age-appropriate academic and performing arts classes which complement live e-learning sessions to keep our children engaged. Additionally, our “distance learning” engagement model allows for email “chats” and includes resources for parents to recreate many of the learning environments from Building Kidz facilities at home. The entire staff and faculty of Building Kidz remain committed to providing best-in-class early childhood education for all our students as well as supporting our families throughout these challenging times.
